"You do not knock on the door of a God who doesn't know you."
That phrase has been stuck with me all day long. Institute was really really good today. We learned a lot about the Celestial Kingdom, and Bro. Maughan took us into a parable that isn't taught very often, if at all. It was really neat, and I enjoyed it very much. We talked a little bit about our Heavenly Mother, and how amazingly modest she is. I think sometimes we forget about her, because she isn't talked about very much. I was really glad today though, because thinking about her brought some new insight into my life, and I think it's going to be okay. It was extremely cool, and really spiritual. I felt very close to her, and was very grateful for that. Because I know that when my mom struggles, I have her. It was neat.
Other than Institute, today was actually very well below average. I woke up late for my plan-the-entire-future meeting, then once I got there, I realized I forgot my necessary documents, so I had to trek all the way back across Campus, twice. I was not happy. Classes went slow and dull, and then we went tanning. I just love tanning.
We watched Survivor, and the final Burn Notice.
April and I decided that so many funny things happen in our day to day goings on, that we need to be followed by a camera crew so that everyone can enjoy them as well. Because, I never put them in here, because they happen so often I would be writing forever, and no one else really is around to see them. So, I'm going to look into that.
We're almost to the weekend, and that's like the halfway mark. I can't wait for Spring Break. Hopefully Courtney will get to play in the tournament, because then that would be really grand. I'm hoping I'll be around to get to watch her games, because that is important to me. We'll see. I think I can miss some school for that. Validation.
Two tests tomorrow, and then I'm done. I can do this.
Nineties dance should be great. We will brush up on episodes of Full House, Saved by the Bell, and Fresh Prince so we are sure to be properly attired. :]
