((WARNING: obviously, I didn't get this post up on the real July 26th, but hey, whatevever. It was supposed to have pictures, but I never got around to it. They are all on facebook.))
Recently, I have done quite a many things. I have gotten more time to do fun summer things with everyone, because I quit as a baker so now I get one even two days off a week. It has been really good. I'm going to be sad when, although I hate the job most of the time, the money income is gone. :/ Finding a job in Logan is proving to be more difficult, and I'm nervous about it. I hope it all works out though. I'm thinking it will!
I have to write about this, because it was a big moment in my life. Yesterday after Church we went to the Butterfield's for our usual hanging out/eating something before Craig goes back up to camp. Craig was in command of cooking, and he made two pizzas. On one, there were scallops, clams, cheese, spinach and other herbs/seasonings. It was so good! I was so impressed with his skills. Plus, I got to eat a scallop. It was awesome. The clams, were legit clams, in the shell and all. It was one of the highlights of my month.
Saturday for the 24th, me and Troy both had work off. So we decided we were going to go hiking and to the Bee's game. Parker and Kris came down too, so they joined us on our hike. It was a lot harder than we expected it to be. For me and Parker anyway. Haha we struggled, and I think the boys were getting very sick of us complaining. But we made it all the way to the top! Even if we did take a couple more breaks than necessary. :] It was so fun, and so pretty though. We packed sandwiches, and hiked up to Lake Mary by Brighton. We were going to go to Donut Falls, but there was a fire warning so we had to change plans. But it all worked out great, and we had a blast! That is what all these pictures are of. :]
Saturday night we also went to the Bee's game, because I had never been, and it was on our list of things to do this summer. (We have actually started to make a good dent in that lately. :] ) It was really fun! It was hot for the first couple of innings, but then it cooled down and wasn't so bad. We had an adventure/second hike trying to find Troy some ice cream, but we found it and he was happy. :] After the game they had a firework show, so we brought our blanket down on the field, right behind third base and watched the show. It was a lot of fun. I hate baseball less and less each day.
Summer is starting to wind down for us now, we are going on a family reunion this week so we are excited for the days off. Troy quit Hadco, so he is back at the farm with Luke and likes it a lot better. Which I am glad for. We are just trying to get ready for school, find jobs, and still have a little bit of fun while we still can. :]
We started our very first family nights tonight. So old. So responsible.

I figure I have done enough lately to update a post. :]
The rodeo came to town! So we all got to go and it was a blast!!

The Fourth of July (rather, the third) went very well. We did our usual activities, and I was only a little bit delayed from work, which made me very happy. We had lunch at Carol's and hung out for a little while, then headed to Sandy for the parade, carnival, and firework show. This year, Troy came too. Kris and Parker also drove down from Logan to get in on some of the festivities. It was really fun, and there are pictures from the day posted below.

The greatest thing about that holiday weekend however, was what I did on Monday! Because Troy had the day off, he took me to work, killed a couple of hours, picked me up and then.....we went to the ZOO!!! Yes everyone, I finally got to go to the zoo. :] I was so excited all day long. I must admit, although I have always had a fantastic time at the zoo, this time was my favorite. :] Maybe it was because Troy came, but that really isn't provable. ;] But we had a really good time seeing all the animals, and being able to enjoy the day off. It was a good time. That event is going to sustain my need for excitement for at least the next week, so all is good.
